Here’s a quick little post about Kite Day at the boys’ school. This is one of my favorite events, where an entire grade level or two goes out and flies kites. Unfortunately for the kinders, there was no wind. Chance had a small kite, which would fly pretty well if he ran quickly, though.
But by the time 2nd grade went out, there was plenty of wind! I loved watching Charlie fly his kite while singing “Break Open the Sky, won’t you? Turn off gravity so we can fly. I want to see your face. So tear the roof off this place, Jesus, break open the sky…” Thank you, Toby Mac, for making cool music for my boys.
