It’s hard to believe I haven’t really posted since then. And I don’t want to gloss over the little things in order to catch up. So here’s a quick overview.
Nearly everyday of the last school year Chandler would wake up asking where his brothers were. I’d tell him, “At school, just like yesterday.” Then every time we’d get in the car, he’d ask if we could pick them up. Poor guy, he really missed them. I regret not putting him in preschool, where at least he’d have friends on a regular basis. But my next best option was to have playdates.
One day we did library time and playing at a park with our friends Nicole, Seyla, and Brielle.

On another day, his buddies Cooper and Tucker came over.
Also in February, we had a shower for my sister Anna’s baby. As I posted before, she actually came 5 weeks early, before her shower. So we postponed and poor Anna had to leave the hospital to come to the party… Madison had to stay behind.

THIS was amazing. A cyber friend from New Orleans surprised us with a fresh, authentic King’s cake straight from NOLA just in time for Mardi Gras. It was awesome!

One night we got to go on a date!! That’s a real treat around here!
Someone gave Chuck’s new car a bad door ding. Thankfully their insurance fixed it.
