Crazy Love

I've read "Don't Waste Your Life" by John Piper. I've read most of "Radical" by David Platt. And I just finally finished "Crazy Love" by Francis Chan. They really all fit in the same category of calling Christians out of their slumber to actively serving and pursuing God. And I don't know if it's just because of the place in life that I'm in, but Crazy Love has had the most impact on me. God used it to expose a lot of my pride and sins that need confessing and repenting. And encouraged me to remember how great His love is for me...and all people!

I have another post to add to this, where I typed out many of the quotes of the first half. But honestly, the entire book is so good that if you haven't read it by now, you should. It's a big best seller, I bought the paperback at Walmart, and I'm probably the last believer in the U.S. to pick it up. But if you haven't yet - I highly recommend it.

I need these reminders often, when my focus blurs and I get caught up in so many things that distract me. This was a painfully good one. I LOVE how Francis Chan reminds us that we need to focus on who God is, and then prioritize our lives accordingly. You can also buy it here.
