So, while I was driving over to the Renaissance Festival, Chuck was prepping for the event he looks forward to every year: The Airshow. Here are a few pics he took that day.
And here's the amazing F22 flying by. Granted, you can't feel the rumble in your chest, but it's still awe-inspiring.

Then, the next day, Chuck's parents came down from Austin to join us for the family trip to the airshow.

While it's not as detailed as Chuck's shots, I happen to love this one that I took.
The boys enjoyed watching the parachuters (paratroopers?).
The hangar that we took refuge in from the hot sun also had great light.
And while the kids had their moments of being bored/restless, there was a lot for the kids to do there, and I think Chuck was proud that they came and can somewhat appreciate it like Chuck does...
