Yesterday I put Chandler on a blanket spread out on the floor, and let him play. Then I got called away for the other boys. When I came back, there was no Chandler. I could hear him. But I couldn't see him. Finally I found the little sneaker - all the way under the bed!! He can scoot on his back now!

Today Charlie told me, "Mommy, I really been wanting to see God! I want to know what He looks like and what clothes He wears!" So I told him how we'll see God in Heaven and how Jesus is a man, and when He comes back we'll see him, dressed in white. He said, "But Mommy, this is taking a long time to see Him!!" So true, honey, so true. ;)

Tonight, as I was putting the boys to bed, I mentioned something about how we need to be kind to one another. Charlie said, "But Mommy, you're not being kind to us when you spank us." Bwahahaha!

So I told him how I spank him because I love him, not because I'm mad at him. I told him that if I didn't spank him, I'd be hating him because he needs a spanking sometimes.

He said, "You know what I hate? Grease. It's this chocolate stuff that, if you eat it, it makes your belly really bigger. Like bigger (than) instead of a house. So if you sit on your bed you would break your bed."

I really don't understand the thought process of a four year old.

I heard Chandler fussing, but was in the middle of something. Then he stopped fussing. Closer investigation showed he had a little piece of pop tart placed in his ever-hungry mouth. Thanks, Charlie.

In order to get Chance potty trained, I've been letting him run around in his birthday suit. So far so good on going No. 1 in the potty. But with No. 2, he seems to confuse "go on the potty" with "go on the porch." Ugh.

Charlie said to me "Mommy, can we watch the Philistines." Philistines? You mean the deleted scenes? "Yeah, the Philistines."
