The Worst is Over, I Think

Who's happy to be home?

Our lil pumpkin

Chandler

Chandler is! :)

One nice thing about post processing
[The left is what he really looked like, the right is what it would've been like if the light was white instead of blue.]

So, his biliruben levels dropped continually (down to 9.6), and by noon today we were back home. Soon we'll be joined by our other boys and Nana, and finally be a reunited family! We go back for another test tomorrow, so I can't rule out having more troubles, but the idea is once it starts dropping on it's own (which it was doing this morning), it should continue. I can't believe he's already a week old and we're just now getting settled at home. It's been a roller coaster week, but the end result is a great blessing, and we're looking forward to many happy days ahead.

One verse that has been ringing in my head is what Mary said when the angel told her she would be with child. I know my son is not the Messiah, but I feel the same way she did:

"My soul glorifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior!" (Luke 1:46).

Thank you all so much for your love, prayers, and sweet words this week! They all mean so much. And if you were wanting to visit...we're ready now!
