It's a BOY!!

That's all I have to say about that ;)

I'll post more reflections later when I have time. But one thing I want to remember: Charlie came with us this time to the sonogram so he could see "his baby" but when we told him it was a boy, he started crying! He had been convinced it was a girl since 2 months before we were even pregnant. Poor guy!

We're building our soccer team for sure. We don't even have a clue as to a name... I thought of Chandler, Chaning, or Channon (I know it's wierd, but it has a cool Hebrew meaning), but Chuck says "No" to those. So please let me know if you have any suggestions that sound good with "Chuck, Charlie, Chance and...."

Congrats! Three boys, that'll be ... Energetic. :)
As for a name, you could go with 'Chase'. (Only one I can think of that fits the theme)

Anyway, good luck to ya's, on the family (and Chuck's new job.)

Oh my goodness! I had forgotten that you guys were going on Friday and just remembered and had to check. I know any baby is a blessing but at the same time I know you are a little disappointed because you guys had all been thinking about it being a girl all along. This is what I've thought about maybe adding another boy to our family: 1) We've already got clothes so it's a little cheaper. 2) We already have two boys so we know what's coming plus having two older brothers he should really learn a lot from them. 3) You've got all the cars you could ever need, no need to worry about pink baby dolls. 4) Unless you end up having another he will always be your baby and that's special. 5) Boys love their mamas. 6) You won't have to pay for a wedding! 7) I think their hormone swings have got to be better than having a teenage daughter.

I'm sure there are more but those are some of the things I think about having possibly boy #3. I'm excited for all of you. Charlie will come around but I know it was sad for him at first. Keep us updated on your trip. I think you guys are maybe leaving this week? We'll be praying for safe travel. :)

Boys Rule!! Congrats. Don't worry, you will have all granddaughters. I think his name should be Cade-Lamb of God or Cooper, don't know the meaning, but cute.

Comment from The Thiers &- Blog Archive &- "Oh God!":

[...] Anyhow, since the sonogram incident, Charlie has not brought up the subject of the baby much. No more "my baby." When people would say, "Are you glad you're having a baby brother?" he'd respond, "But I already have a brother!" That was the extent of his communication about this great disappointment in his life.
